Privacy Policy

1. Who we are & what this covers
Runir (“Runir,” “we,” “us”) publishes options dealer-positioning data and runs the membership service at runir.app. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using Runir you agree to this policy. It works alongside our Terms of Use.
2. Information we collect
Account information. When you sign up we collect your email address and, if you sign in with a provider (such as Google, Apple, or Discord), the basic identifier that provider returns. We do not receive your provider password.
Usage information. Like most sites, we collect standard analytics about how runir.app is used: pages viewed, sessions, approximate location (city/region), device and browser type, and referring source. See §5.
Payment information. Paid plans are processed by Stripe. We receive your plan and billing status; we never see or store your full card number.
Market and options data shown on Runir is not personal information about you.
3. Google user data
Runir uses Google OAuth so the site operator can connect a Google Analytics account, letting Runir read that account's website traffic statistics. We request read-only access only, enough to view traffic statistics, never to change anything in the account. We use this Google Analytics data solely to display Runir's own aggregate site-traffic metrics, such as visits, sessions, page views, and traffic sources, to the operator. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide this feature or as required by law.
Runir's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can revoke Runir's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
4. How we use information
To provide and operate the service (accounts, memberships, alerts), process payments, understand and improve how Runir is used, communicate service and account messages, keep the service secure, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to measure site usage. We use Google Analytics to understand traffic; it sets its own cookies and processes usage data on our behalf. You can block cookies in your browser and opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out add-on.
6. How we share information
We share information only with the service providers that help us run Runir, such as our authentication and database provider, our payment processor, our analytics provider, and our hosting and email providers, and only as needed for them to perform that work. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Runir and its users. We do not sell your personal information.
7. Data retention & security
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it, though no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
8. Your choices & rights
You can view and update your account details, cancel your membership, and request access to or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we honor those rights where they apply.
9. Children
Runir is for adults (18+) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above, and continued use of Runir means you accept the revised policy.
